Alain is Chief Executive Officer at Pala Assets where he oversees the strategic positioning and investment activities. He joined Pala in 2013 as a PM and later transformed the setup to an independent fund specialising in stressed, distressed and contrarian situations with a high emphasis on attractive risk–reward prospects.

Alain has more than 13 years of experience across multiple industries and serves as a NED on several boards in the food and technology sector. Prior to Pala, he worked at Pictet & Cie, Banquiers in Portfolio Management and later at Bridport & Cie as Institutional Sales.

Alain holds an Executive MBA from IMD Lausanne and a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from HWZ, University of Applied Science, Zurich.
